Lakeshore Learning is an awesome store. If you haven't been hide your credit cards before you go to one of these awesome free craft events! The first time I went for the "free" event I spent $40:)
Every Saturday (and some stores on Sunday too) a free craft project is available for kids, from 11-3. They have all of the supplies you need and some one to help explain the project to your kid. It is really a fun event, if you can reign in the post craft shopping (for both you and the kids!). If you must shop, at least use one of the coupons that you can also find on the page linked below ;)
