I made it out shopping today, and it's only Tuesday! That makes me happy. My sitter came early, and I headed straight to CVS to pick up my Dermasilk, and scored a bunch of other great deals and freebies too. Here is how it happened this week:
I already posted about the Dermasilk. I didn't get the 20% email coupon, but I did find a $4/$20 facial skin care purchase CVS coupon. It was expired, but CVS will take expired store coupons, so I was in luck!
Dermasilk, $20.99. Used $10 printable q, $4/$20 CVS q, so it was only $6.99, and I got a $10 reward.
Right Guard Deodorant was 2/$6. I wasn't sure if I should do this one, but when I scanned my card I got a $1/$5 deodorant purchase q from the CVS machine in store. So, I combined that with 2 newspaper q's for $1.50/1, and also got deodorants with peelie q's for $1 each. So, they were $6, and I used $1 + $3 + $2 = $6 in coupons. Free! Plus, I got back $1.50 in rewards.
Physician's Formula cosmetics are all $6 off. I bought concealer sticks for $6.99, got $6 off and used a $1 q for each one. Free!
Next I got 3 Wet N Wild Nailpolish. They retail for only $.99, and I used a $1 q. Free!
Last I got 2 Infusium hair products, priced 2/$10. I used 2 $2/1 newspaper q's, so they were 2/$6, and I got back a $5 reward.
After I paid and checked my receipt, I saw that the $1 deodorant q for some reason came up as a $3 coupon. So, I actually made $2 buying those! I also used a $7 reward, and paid $3.96 before tax out of pocket. I didn't have any smaller rewards to use, only $4 and up. I earned back $16.50 in rewards. That is awesome!
