Craft with Nature!

I joked yesterday about the Lego art exhibit at Forest Lawn inspiring some new creations in my house, but it kind of did!  I love seeing people use things in a new way, and it always gets me thinking.  Today was one of those lovely slow mornings with the kids, so I decided to try out a new project.
I gave each kid a big ziploc bag to collect leaves and flowers and sticks, and I did it too, and then we just glued our findings onto construction paper to create art.  It was such a fun project!  I made a hummingbird, and we all made the tree together, and then my son created the piece at the bottom titled "Monster Truck".  So funny.  The rocks are wheels, of course.  My daughter actually just squeezed glue all over a paper, but that was helpful too:)
