I love finding new ways to use old things. My favorite quote from How the Grinch Stole Christmas is when the Grinch can't find a reindeer to pull off his hoax, and he says, "If I can't find a reindeer, I'll make one instead!". This is me! I love to find creative ways to use stuff I have, and my kids love to see what I will come with when they have a need for something.
I save egg cartons mostly to serve as paint pots. But I decided to branch out after a few readings of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and we turned an egg carton into our own caterpillar. It was a lot of fun (and yes, I used the other side of the carton for the paint pots!)
