Free play space - Travel Town

Now that the weather is heating up we can start looking at all of the great free outdoor play spaces in this town!  One of my favorites is Travel Town, in Griffith Park.  They have tons of old trains, some of which the kids can climb on and see the levers and coal boxes etc.  They also have an indoor section with a toy train track - bring some trains from home if you want to take advantage of this, or borrow some from the store (if you are brave enough to venture in with your toddler).

For $2.50 you can also ride a small train around the park.  They have picnic benches too, so pack a lunch or snack for sure.
